was from Bill who anxiously phoned to say that he had a problem with his spraying cat, Sam. Sam had been spraying in the house for more than three years but
was still the 'love of Bill's life'. I was curious to know why Bill was calling me now. Well it seems that when Bill was in bed last night, reading the
newspaper, Sam hopped up on the bed and sprayed the opposite side of the paper.
"Wow", I said, "you have an 'in your face' cat".
Clearly Bill needed immediate help. After I discussed with him the seven things he needed to do to remedy this inappropriate behavior, Bill and his wife went
to work. I had never heard from him after that. Two months later, a lady came into my store and asked for Janet.
"That would be me" I casually said. She exclaimed, "YOU SAVED MY MARRIAGE!"
Everyone around was curious to know what had happened. But I knew immediately that this must be Bill's wife. And, indeed it was.
This inappropriate cat behavior was curtailed, and the family, feline and human, were happy once again.
